Jet Airways Dragged To Court By Operational Creditors,Airline Owes ₹6.53 Crores To The Creditors

Jet Airways is being taken to the National Company Law Tribunal by its operational creditors. This is the second time this action has been taken as the no Jet representatives showed up on the first date. The airline owes the creditors a combine ₹6.53 crores.

Jet Airways, established on 17 April, owes a group of companies led by the State Bank and now the airline, more than Rs 8,500 crore, whereas its debt is far bigger as a consequence of accumulated losses of Rs 13,000 crore and supplier dues of Rs 10,000 crore, with over Rs 3,000 crore salaries, respectively.

Kumar discussed the amended stressed asset resolution structure published by the Reserve Bank on 7 June and stated that all the accounts referred to by the NCLT under RBI’s guidance of 12 February will need reconsideration.
